The Lava story goes back to 1983 when founder Kelmer Beck began training in Hawaii along the Kona Lava fields for the Ironman Triathlon World Championships. Kelmer's applied balanced nutrition and secure training principals to achieve a healthy and rewarding career in endurance sports. |
After completing hundreds of Triathlons including 15 Ironman competitions, along with 20 years of working within the sports nutrition industry, Kelmer's experience provided the hands on knowledge to develop a premiumsports nutrition providing balanced sustained energy for today's athletes.
